Avati is one of the Eyeties

AFTER more than two years touring the world as one of the stars and producers of the award-winning comedy show, Il Dago, Joe Avati is back in Australia doing what he does best, taking the mickey out of his Italian upbringing.

In his latest comedy act, Viva Lost Wages, the comedian explores Italians and unemployment, particularly topical in the current financial downturn.

Avati's show will bring back his famed Italian-Australian family.

He will also talk about his observations during his visit to Italy.

Fellow comedian Frank Lotito, will host the night and comic impersonator Tony Lewis will make a guest appearance, performing impersonations of well-known characters.
