Ruby Burke impressed the judges and was named winner of the Crestwood Junior Idol competition, which was held as part of the Crestwood Fair on Sunday.
The Crestwood Fair celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and Crestwood Idol first featured as part of entertainment in 2005.
This was the first year that Crestwood Junior Idol, for vocalists 12 years and under, had been held.
Capria DiGiacomo received second place and Marcfranco Cannone took home the People's Choice award.
In the senior Idol competition, Rosemaree Dinaro was awarded first place, Susan Jon Rose came second, Emma Mylott came third and Laura Reid-Salloum received the People's Choice award.
Other events held during the past week included Orange Day at Castle Hill RSL and the Baulkham Hills Art Society Orange Blossom Festival art awards.
