THE Sawmillers Family Restaurant at Quakers Inn has something for everyone.
It's a great place for lunch or dinner and also has a children's menu and an outdoor playground.
The Sawmillers Restaurant is the perfect place for all occasions.
The menu includes seafood, pastas, salads, steaks and Asian stir-fry dishes, schnitzels, burgers and wraps.
My dining partner and I chose dishes from the Chef's Special board.
We were more than satisfied.
For our entree, we enjoyed grilled scallops with tomato and shallots and prawns sauteed in napolitano sauce and served with rice ($14.90).
Our mains were equally delicious a huge serving of chicken and porchini mushroom risotto with baby spinach in a white wine and cream sauce ($16.50) and barramundi fillet with Asian vegetables and a mango salsa ($18.90).
The piping hot meals are served promptly and a full range of drinks are available at the bar.
The kids' menu includes spaghetti, calamari, chicken nuggets or fish and chips, a drink and an ice-cream ($6.50).
Children eat free on Monday nights when an adult buys a main meal. A clown entertains the youngsters on Monday nights starting at 6.30.
The Sawmillers Restaurant is open every day for lunch, midday to 2.30pm and dinner, 5.30pm to 9pm on Sunday and until 9.30pm Monday to Saturday.
