Denis Swift, of Kellyville: "Yes, preserve the showground. It's been there for years. It's a historical venue."

Nikki Keen, of Castle Hill: "I don't want a train station at all. Parramatta station is close enough. I want things to stay as they are."

Lawrie Dwyer, of Cherrybrook: "They should definitely avoid destroying the showground. It's a community area and it would be greatly missed."

Karen Kelly, of Glenhaven: "Yes, it would be a shame to lose it. The other thing is if the station goes there where would the parking go?"
