Reader of the Week: Simon Edwards of CanoelandsThree people I would love to invite to dinner: The Dalai Lama, Rowan Atkinson, Albert Einstein.
Most amazing thing I've ever done: Can't decide between walking outside the restaurant at 11pm on top of Mount Pilatus in Switzerland during winter; abseiling off the Harbour Bridge; walking through the tunnels under the Great Pyramid in Egypt; jumping out of the [Sydney] Entertainment Centre roof dressed as an angel into a crowd of people; or jumping out of a plane.
The best advice I ever received: Plan for 100 per cent and be happy with what you get.
Down to my last $10, I would spent it on . . . Phone calls to people to make sure my family are taken care of during my short stay in destitution.
My greatest fear is: Not being able to save someone.
My favourite phrase: "Could be worse".
My fantasy job is: Running adventure camps for kids to different places around the world.
If I could travel back in time I would love to see . . . The creation of the universe.
My earliest memory is: When I was three and going to hospital to see mum and my new sister. I still remember the colour and smell of the flowers on the small table on the left-hand side of the bed.
In the future . . . Humans are going to be in a lot of trouble.
What people may not know about me is: I am constantly watching people to see if they need help with something.
My biggest fashion faux pas was: I used to make my own nightclub clothes and got away with people thinking I had found a really cool exclusive shop.
True love is... Doing anything to protect that person.
My last meal would be: Pizza.
My first car: Had twin carburetors, four wheel disc brakes, mag wheels, midnight blue colour, dark tinted windows and it was a Volvo.
I’m always being asked: Are you okay? (People are nice aren’t they?).
My most embarrassing moment: Was in year 8 at Galston High. I had had the same gym shorts since year 7, and since you only wore them once a week you always forgot they were getting too small until next week. When they were smaller still, in front of the girls I bent down and ripped them from elastic to elastic, front to back. Things got a lot cooler very quick.
Weirdest thing in my glovebox: Funny metal thing that you use to undo that water tap in parks that do not have a handle. Very handy on scout camps.
On my bedside table is: A lava lamp. Can watch it for hours.
People say I look: A little bit crazy.
Movies I think everyone should see: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Deliverance, Pulp Fiction, and the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Favourite book as a child: 'Charlotte’s Web'.
