IT already holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the world's largest permanent light and sound show in Hong Kong and has been honoured for creating the Best New Tourist Attraction in South East Asia.
Dural company Laservision can now look forward to being inducted into the Australian Export Hall of Fame during the 50th Australian Institute of Export Awards Night later this year.
Laservision has won the NSW Export Award seven times in nine years and in December won the National Australian Export Award for the third time.
"The company will be the ninth inductee [joining companies such as Cochlear Limited] and the sole arts and entertainment recipient," John Kehoe, director for business development international, said.
Mr Kehoe has been associated with Laservision for 17 years and described the company as specialists in permanent attractions, architectural lighting and premium special events.
Laservision is currently engaged on projects in Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Macau, Hong Kong, the UK, Russia and Singapore, where its 13-minute multisensory spectacular Wonder Full light has become an iconic feature of the cosmopolitan city.
The display, which explores humanity and the beauty of human life through original Singaporean footage and a customised sound score, was named as the Best New Tourist Attraction at the opening ceremony for the 2012 Association of Southeast Asian Nations Tourism Forum in Manado, Indonesia, for its creativity in design, functionality, harmony with the environment and the overall quality experienced by audiences.
"Wonder Full was produced in late February last year for the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, which is one of the two integrated resorts that have recently opened their doors," Mr Kehoe said.
"Seventy-five million people visit this [Southeast Asian] region. The Singapore Island is circa 30 kilometres and those beams can be seen across the entire island.
"In the next few weeks we expect to welcome the millionth spectator."
Mr Kehoe said the company's Guinness record holding display in Hong Kong is now in its fifth stage of expansion and the latest building to go online is the International Commerce Centre.
