Young stars on the ball

09 Feb, 2010 02:06 PM
SOCCER enthusiasts around The Hills and beyond had an opportunity to get up close and personal with their favourite soccer stars at a recent school holiday clinic.

Sydney FC players were on hand at the three-day clinic held at Macquarie University Sports Fields to pass on skills and advice to young players as well as to teach new drills.

More than 100 children took part and all received an official Sydney FC uniform.

Sydney FC striker Alex Brosque said the clinics encouraged children to keep active, fit and healthy.

He said it also helped them with their football skills.
