THE Cherrybrook Athletics Centre did well at the recent NSW Masters State Championships at the Crest at Bankstown.
The club was represented by women master's athletes its best representation to date.
Jill Taylor, Allison Deskovic, Kirsty Curnow, Margaret Walker and Glynis Marks performed extremely well, bringing home 21 medals and a state relay record from the 24 events they contested.
Throwing events are a strong part of the club's senior group, with the club's first master's member Taylor throwing world ranking distances in her hammer and weight throw events, but one to watch also is young gun sprinter Curnow, who is clocking impressive times on the track.
