IN front of a strong crowd at Pennant Hills Park on Saturday, the North Western Predators gridiron team won their first game of the 2009 season, knocking off the Sutherland Seahawks 28-22.
In a see-sawing game, the clash went down to the wire, with the Preds holding off the potent Seahawks offence in the final minutes of the game.
The Predators defence was outstanding, constantly putting pressure on the Seahawks quarterback.
The North Western Predators will play at the Hockey Field at Pennant Hills Park (off Britannia Avenue) on Saturday.
Kick-off is 7pm and entry is free.
