Breakfast with Santa: Clowning around for the kids

ONE of the highlights of the annual Breakfast with Santa is Stretch the Clown and his team from Carousel Clowns.

Reach for the Rainbow's annual Breakfast with Santa event is on December 15 at Castle Hill RSL.

And families can expect the same quality show and great gift bags, with all funds raised going to the foundation that supports early-intervention services for babies and preschoolers with a disability or delay.

Stretch will perform a magic show and his team of clowns will have balloons, face painting, tattoos and hair glitter for the children.

"This is a wonderful event that Carousel Clowns have proudly supported for the past two years," he said.

"From each balloon sold $1 will be donated to Reach for the Rainbow."

Kids will also enjoy entertainment by Sister2Sister singing school, face painting and balloon tricks by Event Cinemas before the guests of honour — Santa, Mrs Claus and all of Santa's Helpers — arrive after their journey from the North Pole to perform their beautiful Christmas Wishes Spectacular children's pantomime produced by RegProm.

Sponsored by the News, the RSL and Scholastic Books, there will be gift bags which include back packs, angel wings, pirate hats or clown wigs and a Scholastic book.

■ Breakfast with Santa is 10am on Saturday, December 15 in the Lyceum at Castle Hill RSL. Tickets: $20 a person from the RSL box office, castlehillrsl.com.au or on 8858 4838.
