Car eggings
Castle Hill police are looking for youths who egged six cars in Kellyville on Friday, January 4.
The first egging occurred at 7pm with a number of similar incidents reported to police the next morning.
Inspector Glynis Cameron said the eggings were no joking matter and could cause big damage bills for the owners.
"Youths may think it's fun but eggs can easily damage the paint work on cars," Inspector Cameron said.
There were no reported sightings of the offenders.
Robbery and assault
A youth was charged with robbery in company this week following an assault in Baulkham Hills on December 29.
Police said the teenager and seven other youths allegedly approached three males in Gooden Reserve and started hitting them in an unprovoked attack.
A 17-year-old from Baulkham Hills suffered bruising to his face and had his iPhone, wallet and watch stolen.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries. Police said the youth was likely to be refused bail and will face Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
Petrol bomb explodes
A petrol bomb exploded under a bridge on Seven Hills Road, Baulkham Hills last week.
A resident heard a loud explosion at 7.35pm on December 30 and found a small device on fire. With fire spreading, the man kicked the metal device object into a nearby creek.
Police are appealing for information.
Break-in foiled
Police are investigating an aggravated break and enter incident on December 30 in Baulkham Hills.
A 39-year-old woman was home at the time when she saw a man with a torch at the bottom of her stairs.
She woke up a family member and called police. Police found a fly screen removed from a kitchen window and searched the area with a dog team but couldn't find the intruder.
Drink- driving charge
A Baulkham Hills man was left red-faced on Saturday after getting his car stuck in the middle of a median-strip in Baulkham Hills. The 36-year-old was driving home from a licensed premises on Seven Hills Road when he attempted to turn right onto Cropley Drive and became stuck under a tree stump. Police alleged he blew a blood alcohol reading of 0.209. He was charged with high-range drink driving and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on February 4.
