Players at Test
Emerging juniors from Kellyville Cricket Club were given the highlight of their short careers this month when they were picked for an on-field demonstration game at a Sydney Test match.
The seven club teammates joined other Miloin2Cricket juniors from around the country to practice their skills during the lunch break of Australia's final Test against Sri Lanka.
For their efforts the Kellyville juniors received a Milo cricket pack containing a bat, ball, T-shirt and a bucket hat.
Friendly match
Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Aaron Mooy is hoping to retain his place in the national team when Australia face Romania in an international friendly on February 6.
The match will serve as a vital warm-up game before Australia's next World Cup qualifier against Oman in March.
Mooy — who made his Socceroos debut last year at the East Asian Cup qualifiers in Hong Kong — is considered an outside chance to make the final 23-man squad.
This will be Australia's first senior match against Romania who sit three places above them in the FIFA rankings.
