FORMER INXS and Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens will lead the Australia Day celebrations at Balcombe Heights, Baulkham Hills.
Stevens was born and raised in New Zealand but crossed the ditch and became an Australian citizen.
He will perform some of his classics on the night, supported by local band Breakaway.
Children will be entertained by the Dress up Oz competition, Bluey the Kangaroo show, the Ronald McDonald show, free rides and showbags.
Enjoy a range of food stalls on the night and a massive fireworks display at 9pm.
"There's no better way to spend our national day than to have some fun with friends and neighbours, meet new people and enjoy the fireworks finale with your family," Hills mayor Dr Michelle Byrne said.
The day will end with an affirmation ceremony, where residents can affirm their allegiance to Australia by making a short statement based on part of the Australian Citizenship Pledge.

In Castle Hill's Main Street there will be a flag raising ceremony, national anthem and pigeon release from 11.30am.
There will be musical acts, performances and kids shows until 2pm.
Residents can honour those fallen men and women who served in Australia's armed forces at Castlebrook Memorial Park at Rouse Hill.
Commemorations and service runs from 7am to 9am.
Family service manager John Lazanas said as the flags were being placed, a parade of pipers and drummers would circle the park.
After the final flag has been positioned, volunteers, RSL members, friends and family will gather at Castlebrook's flagpole for a brief tribute service and the playing of the Last Post.

FLAG RAISING CEREMONIES IN THE HILLS
Residents are invited to start their Australia Day celebrations at one of several flag raising ceremonies being held throughout The Hills to mark Australia Day on Saturday.
Hills mayor Dr Michelle Byrne and councillors will be present at some, as well as special guests and Australia Day Ambassadors.
