Dural man charged with filming up a woman's skirt

A man has been charged after allegedly indecently assaulting a woman and filming up her skirt her at a store in Dural.

About midday on Sunday, January 20, a 40-year-old woman was at a hardware store on New Line Road, Dural, when a man allegedly rubbed up against her while pretending to select an item from a shelf.

Soon after doing this the man also allegedly used a mobile phone to film up the woman’s skirt.

The matter was reported to store management and Eastwood police attended and commenced an investigation.

Yesterday morning Tuesday, January 22, detectives executed a search warrant at an address on Thomas Wilkinson Drive, Dural, with police seizing a number of items.

The 63-year-old was taken to Hornsby Police Station and charged with indecent assault and filming a person’s private parts.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Hornsby Local Court on 13 February 2013.
