Hornets to Contest Annual Bruins Challenge

The Hills District Basketball Association will compete in the annual 'Bankstown Bruins Challenge' over the weekend of February 16-17th, which will feature both men's and women's teams from the Waratah Championship League, State League and Youth League competitions.

The Annual tournament has been a key starting point of the season for many teams, over past years, especially those competing in the Championship League.

The Challenge offers a great opportunity for WCL head coaches to not only test the strength of their own squads but equally to gauge the depth and strength of this year's opposition.

The Hornets will be joined in the Men's division of the Challenge by the host association Bankstown Bruins, along with the Sutherland Sharks, Parramatta Wildcats, Sydney City Comets and the reigning WCL premiers - the Northern Suburbs Bears.

Games continue through until 8.30pm on Saturday, then resume at 10.30am on Sunday - all games will be played at the Bankstown Basketball Stadium, Third Avenue, Condell Park.
