Meet our student leaders: Pennant Hills High School 

This week we meet the school captains of Pennant Hills High School whose motto is Nil nisi bonum (Nothing but the best).

What is unique about your school?

Lucie Bertoldo: Relationships between students and relationship with teachers is special.

Mikaila Sparkes: Wide range of talent within the school and the way it is encouraged.

Joshua Cooper: Integration, activity and opportunity.

Alasdair Belling: Connection with the surrounding community and the people within the local area.

What do you want to do when you leave school?

Lucie Bertoldo:  Journalist and work with a fashion magazine.

Mikaila Sparkes: Medical sciences — maybe chemistry.

Joshua Cooper: Study geo science.

Alasdair Belling: Play in any type of professional band/group or study journalism.

Why do you think being a school leader is important?

Lucie Bertoldo: Being a role model to younger students is important.

Mikaila Sparkes: Being the voice of the people and encourage others to persue their ideas.

Joshua Cooper: You get to create the opportunities for the next generation.

Alasdair Belling: Because you get to serve others.

If you were the principal what would like to introduce?

Lucie Bertoldo: Build an adult sized playground.

Mikaila Sparkes: Paint the school multi-colours.

Joshua Cooper: Compulsory for every student to ride their bikes to school.

Alasdair Belling: Give out junk food coupons each week.
