Castle Hill RSL takes our gymnastics awards

Castle Hill RSL Gymnastics Club walked away with top awards at the Gymnastics NSW Annual Awards Night on February 16, including Club of the Year for the fifth year in a row.

Gymnastics Clubs from across NSW, industry sponsors, former Olympic gymnasts and dignitaries in sport were attended.

Castle Hill RSL Gymnastics Club was nominated across several club award categories including Men’s Gymnastics Club, Women’s Gymnastics Club, Trampoline Sports Club, Recognition of Excellence in Inclusion as well as six coach nominations and nine individual athlete nominations.

Individual Awards to coaches and athletes were presented before the highlight of the evening, with club awards.

Congratulations:

Damian Ryan: Trampoline Elite Coach of the Year;

Kira Ward: Female Age Athlete of the Year;

Matthew Weal: Senior Elite Age Athlete of the Year;

Jessie Tulett: Senior Elite Age athlete of the year; and

Belinda Cox (head trampoline coach) and her team won Trampoline Sports Club of the Year, for the fifth year.

“I can firmly state management, coaches, athletes and families are all integral in the success of Castle Hill RSL Gymnastics Club,’’ Ms Cooke said.
