Rams lend support to Hills Relay for Life

Rouse Hill Rams Soccer Club is one of the first clubs to support the 2013 Hills Relay for Life.

The club’s board decided to help support Relay for Life organisers with a head shaving fund-raiser and mini soccer tournament at the relay itself on May 4 at Wrights Road Reserve, Kellyville.

Castle Hill RSL Cricket Club has also signed up.

The Guinness Book Of Records headshave attempt will occurr at 8pm on the 4th.

Co-chairwoman for the Hills Relay for Life, Denise Daynes, said it was great to have the support of the Rams and she hoped other Hills sporting clubs would join in.

An information session on how to get involved for business and community groups will be held today  from 10.30am to 11.30am at Castle Hill RSL Club.

Ms Daynes said organisers were hoping a number of different sporting clubs would get involved with the Cancer Council event and promote their various sports.

Men are also needed for the charity head shave event.
