JUDGES of the 2013 Sydney Hills Local Business Awards are counting the votes.
A mystery shopper will visit the finalists to judge on the following:
■ Fundamental business principles;
■ Providing the best customer service;
■ Business appearance;
■ Value for money; and
■ Merchandising.
Customer testimonials will also be taken into consideration.
Entries for self-nominated categories — covering commercial, wholesale and distribution, and home-based and online businesses — close on Friday, March 22.
Finalists will be judged on the quality of information provided in their applications and supporting documentation.
All winners will be named at the awards dinner on Wednesday, May 1, at Castle Hill RSL Club.
Sponsors include The Hills Council, Castle Hills RSL, Castle Towers, Westfield North Rocks, Sydney Hills Business Chamber, Power of 300 and Success Women's Network.
