A FRUSTRATED Castle Hill man says his letterbox — including the shaft and cement foundation — has been pulled out of the ground eight times in 18 months.
"On two occasions the letterbox and shaft has been found half a kilometre down the road," said Greg Derwin, who lives in Old Castle Hill Road.
He said no standing signs on the street had been pulled down to ground level, fences and bins damaged and syringes, condoms and rubbish left on the road.
"Hoons also roar up the road late at night," he said.
Mr Derwin said more police patrols were needed.
But a Hills police spokeswoman said the road was regularly patrolled and there had been no reports of antisocial behaviour recently.
Mr Derwin said: "I reported a few [of the letterbox] incidents on the phone but was told I could call another number."
