Hills Relay for Life: Sponsor a pollie to spit the dummy

Here's a chance to place money on a politician spitting the dummy.

"It's pure entertainment," promised event organiser Mike Yeo, from Awards & More at Castle Hill.

Celebrity Dummy Spit is one of five events of the organisation's inaugural Corporate Games.

The Corporate Games will be held at Wrights Road Reserve, Kellyville, on Saturday, May 4 – the day of the 2013 Hills Relay for Life.

Watch celebrities embarrass themselves for charity from 3pm.

Anyone with a profile in the community is invited to enter for $5, with all proceeds going into The Hills Relay for Life bucket to raise funds for the NSW Cancer Council.

"I'm a prostate cancer survivor and have walked in this relay with the Castle Hill RSL sub-branch for the past three years," Mr Yeo said.

The public can also sponsor a Spit the Dummy entrant.

"[Hills] Councillor Jeff Lowe is in, then I would expect the mayor, heads of police, State Emergency Service, Rural Fire Service," Mr Yeo said.

Spit the Dummy involves spitting a dummy out of your mouth as far as you can.

Other events will include the Clumsy Waiter, Toss the Compendium and Balance the Books.

Castle Hill High School will have a Hills Relay for Life trivia night on Saturday, starting at 7.30pm. Bookings: Denise, 0425 308 604.
