Castle Hill RSL celebrated Jeans for Genes Day in an effort to raise awareness for the Children’s Medical Research Institute on August 2.all funds raised on Jeans for Genes supports Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI).
‘‘Children’s Medical Research Institute thanks Castle Hill RSL for successfully rallying community support in the lead up to, and on Jeans for Genes Day to raise awareness for children’s medical research,’’ said Mayra Kay, CMRI’s communications manager.One in 20 children are born with a birth defect or genetic disease.
Kids enjoyed Jeans for Genes kid’s meals, Jeans for Genes colouring in, Jeans for Genes face painting, Jeans for Genes clown and Jeans for Genes ice-cream.

Each winner received a $200 gift card to spend at the RSL.
