The community helped raise over $75,000 for the Woodbury School at Baulkham Hills in July.
More than 350 guests enjoyed the glittering lights of Darling Harbour at this year's Woodbury Gala Ball.
Dockside at Cockle Bay was the venue for the wonderful night, which raised $76,185 for Woodbury, a school for children with autism.
The theme of the ball was ‘Shine the Light’ and the money raised on the night will go a long way to doing just that.
Entertainer Todd McKenney once again was MC for the night.
McKenney has been the MC for the past three years and Woodbury is incredibly grateful for his support. For the auction he donated a special behind-the-scenes theatre packages to see Grease and dine with him which was hotly contested.
‘The Leave Pass’ band had ball guests dancing the night away and comedian Clint Paddison provided plenty of laughs.
But the main aim of the night was to raise funds for Woodbury, the only ABA school in NSW, which provides specialised education programs for some very special children.
Auctioneer Bruce Connors did a fabulous job selling off some great donated prizes in the live auction, including holidays, art and sporting memorabilia.
The silent auction items also proved popular, with something for every taste and budget.
The school thanks the night's sponsors Conform Australia, MMCLD, Tamburlaine Wine and Harcus Design for their generous support, as well as everyone who donated prizes and services or their time.
