This week we meet the school captains of Crestwood High School whose motto is Vision and Progress. Read their Q&A:
What is unique about your school?
Emily McCammon: The high level of communication throughout the school and the friendships between the different years.
Kelly Benson: The enormous range of extra curricula activities including leadership teams, peer support, peer tutoring and mentoring.
What do you want to do when you leave school?
Emily McCammon: I want to go to uni. Not sure which course yet but I really want to help people.
Kelly Benson: I want to peruse a career in professional football playing for the Rabbitohs and help mentor others.
Why do you think being a school leader is important?
Emily McCammon: It allows a representation of the whole student body. We can act as a voice for them. It's a great responsibility.
Kelly Benson: Guides students to strive to achieve their goals.
If you were the principal what would you introduce?
Emily McCammon: I have the same goals as our new principal. To maintain the pride in the Crestwood uniform and the happiness within the school.
Kelly Benson: Keep enforcing extra curricula activities and make sure opportunities are open to every student.
