Wet ‘n’ Wild Park Sydney is set to open at Prospect on Saturday, December 14.
General manager Chris Warhurst said more than 10,000 people had already registered for employment information via the website.
Mr Warhurst said they were taking applications for more than 300 positions that would include lifeguards, aquatic attendants, general services, retail and food and beverage workers.
He recently told business and community leaders at the Greater Western Sydney Small Business Summit that 70 per cent of the $115 million in construction work put to tender had been taken up by local businesses.
Mr Warhurst said construction on the $115 million park, located on a 25-hectare site, was on track for opening day.
“We are ready to recruit our team to help launch Wet ‘n’ Wild Sydney for its inaugural season,” he said.
There are 42 colourful slides and attractions in the park including several world firsts, including the ‘‘world’s tallest’’ and the ‘‘world’s best’’.
