Meet this week's student leaders: Eidan Pederson, Nicholas Dang, Mica Kim and Robert Hirsch of Oatlands Public School. The school's motto is Our best always.
What is unique about your school?
Nicholas Dang, C: Its a nice school because its a small school and everyone knows each other.
Eidan Pederson, VC: We all know each other and are very friendly. There are no bullies at all.
Mic Kim, C: The teachers support us a lot and because its a small school we can work together across the grades.
Robert Hirsch, VC: Even though we are a small community we are strong in spirit.
What do you want to do when you leave school?
Nicholas Dang, C: Become a professional athlete.
Eidan Pederson, VC: I want to be a professional dancer.
Mic Kim, C: I want to become a fashion designer.
Robert Hirsch, VC: I haven't made up my mind yet.
Why do you think being a school leader is important?
Nicholas Dang, C: So we can help out students.
Eidan Pederson, VC: It gives us leadership skills for later on.
Mic Kim, C: We can be a great role model to the younger kids.
Robert Hirsch, VC: To encourage kids to do their best in work and sport.
If you were the principal what would you introduce?
Nicholas Dang, C: Install a park.
Eidan Pederson, VC: Lots of chocolate fountains.
Mic Kim, C: No tests.
Robert Hirsch, VC: lollies and lots of sport to burn off the calories.
