THE community can comment on early plans to upgrade Memorial Avenue at Kellyville.
Baulkham Hills MP David Elliott said the Roads and Maritime Services proposes to widen Memorial Avenue to a four-lane divided road, between Old Windsor and Windsor roads at Kellyville.
The 2.2 kilometre road would connect Old Windsor Road in the west with Windsor Road and provides vital access to Blacktown, Stanhope Gardens, Baulkham Hills, Castle Hill and Kellyville. There will be lights installed, a central median to separate traffic and an off-road shared path for pedestrians and cyclists on both sides of Memorial Avenue.
People can comment up until January 31 on the RMS website, at the council's new office at 3 Columbia Court, Baulkham Hills, or write to: The Memorial Avenue Upgrade Project Team, Sydney Development Section, Roads and Maritime Services, PO Box 973, Parramatta, NSW, 2124 or email email@example.com.
All written comments received will be considered in the environmental assessment and development of the proposal.
