Teenagers crash into a light pole in Baulkham Hills

Two teenagers were taken to Westmead Hospital this morning after their silver Camry crashed into a garbage bin and a light pole on Baulkham Hills Road at 2.20am on Wednesday.

Police believe the male P1 driver, aged 18, from Kings Langley, lost control of the car and skidded 45metres before hitting the bin and the pole.

The driver suffered back injuries but is believed to be in a stable condition, while the Castle Hill passenger, 17, sustained abrasions.

Police, who are yet to interview the driver, are urging witnesses to come forward with information by contacting  Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Two days ago another driver crashed into a light pole in Baulkham Hills.

The driver of a Honda sedan was hospitalised after crashing her car into a power pole on Norwest Boulevarde on Monday afternoon.

Police say the woman was travelling east when she entered the roundabout at Century Circuit.

Upon exiting the roundabout, her car mounted the gutter and crashed into a light pole.

The driver was taken to Blacktown Hospital.
