GALLERY: First pro-am victory a thrill for Scotland’s Kylie Walker in Castle Hill

SCOTLAND’S Kylie Walker shot a seven-under-par 67 round to take out yesterday’s Renault Ladies Pro-Am at Castle Hill Country Club in windy conditions.

It was her first professional golfing victory and she was understandably delighted.

“That was really good, I loved it,’’ said Walker, who will compete in the Bing Lee Fujitsu General Women’s NSW Open this week.

Twelve countries were represented at the tournament, with 50 professionals competing for a prize purse of $25,000, including international Laura Davies.

Walker won $3750 for placing first.
