Tour de Hills: PwC jumps on board

PROFESSIONAL services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia has come on board to support the 19th Tour de Hills this Sunday.

PwC Australia, based in Baulkham Hills, helps businesses, not-for-profit organisations and governments assess their performance and improve the way they work.

The company is sponsoring the event for the first time by providing financial support and donating the airfares to the Hamilton Island holiday prize for the biggest fund-raiser.

Greater western Sydney office managing partner David Hegarty said he was proud to support the event.

"We care about building great relationships with the communities in which we operate and Tour de Hills is such an important fund-raiser for the charities and organisations who benefit," he said.

"It brings out the best in the community and we're sure the commitment and passion of Rotary will guarantee an enjoyable day for all.

"We're gathering a contingent of employees [almost 30 so far], clients and extended family and friends to participate."

Rotary's chairman of the organising committee Mike Blair thanked the company for coming on board.

"And thank-you to their very big team that are participating to raise as much money as they can for the research of motor neurone disease," he said.
