THEY may be little but they've achieved big results.
Baulkham Hills under-nine boys and girls have won their respective junior state cup oztag titles.
The under-14 boys also made their final, losing 3-1 in what was only the second year in which Baulkham Hills had entered teams.
It was indeed a big result from the under-nine boys.
They'd had a limited time to prepare, most training sessions were held during the school holidays, most of the boys are seven or eight and they played nine games in three days in temperatures of more than 40 degrees.
The boys won five of their six pool games on Friday and Saturday, and then on Sunday outplayed Central Coast and Shellharbour in the quarter and semi-finals respectively.
The final against South Sydney required eight minutes of golden-point time before Baulkham Hills won it with the most skilful try of the tournament.
The boys have earned the right to go to Canberra in May to represent NSW against the best teams from Queensland and the ACT.
