This week we meet the junior leaders of The Hills Grammar School whose motto is Strive for Excellence.
Read their Q&A:
1. What is unique about you school?
Whitney Wales: That everywhere is engulfed in nature. Other schools just look like a slab of concrete. Here we see birds and animals.
Michael Sherry: The bush. It makes the school.
2. What do you want to do when you leave school?
Whitney Wales: I want to be either a pre-school teacher or a marine biologist.
Michael Sherry: Not sure yet. I'm interested in maths, history and sport.
3. Why do you think being a school leader is important?
Whitney Wales: Everyone needs a little bit of guidance in their lives. We help the other students with that.
Michael Sherry: to uphold the values of the school.
4. If you were the principal what would you introduce?
Whitney Wales: A pool and a wider range of subjects for co-curriculas.
Michael Sherry: Do the Amazing Race on the oval.
