Congratulations to The Hills Councillor Ryan Tracey who got married over the weekend.
Cr Tracey married Monika Czaplarska of Northmead in the rose garden at Oatlands House on March 23 with a reception in the deck room.
The couple have been together for a year.
Both Cr Tracey and Monika have worked in the disability sector for close to 20 years combined and met working in the same sector.
They share an interest in social justice and the disability sector.
Both are excited about the NDIS, Cr Tracey said.
‘‘It will go some way to address the current issues that people with disabilities and their families face,’’ he said.
Monika adds: ‘‘Access to services and opportunity should be available to those most vulnerable.’’
Cr Tracey proposed to Monika in September at Kirribilli overlooking the Opera House.
Monika wore an ivory lace fitted gown with flair cascades to organza back by Henry Roth of New York. Monika’s bouquet was made up of white budliah, sahara and apricot roses, white liz and cream daliahs with an ivory finish.
The Traceys are spending their honeymoon in Fiji and look forward to settling together in The Hills.
