Hills councillor weds his bride

THE Hills councillor Ryan Tracey and his fiancee have tied the knot.

Cr Tracey married Monika Czaplarska of Northmead in the rose garden at Oatlands House on March 23 with a reception in the deck room.

The couple have been together for a year.

Cr Tracey and Monika met in the disability sector, in which they have worked for a combined total of 20 years.

They share an interest in social justice and disability services.

Cr Tracey proposed to Monika in September at Kirribilli overlooking the Opera House.

Monika wore an ivory lace fitted gown with cascades of organza by Henry Roth of New York.

Monika's bouquet was made up of white buddleia, Sahara and apricot roses, white and cream dahlias and had an ivory finish.

The Traceys are honeymooning in Fiji and will settle in The Hills.
