HORNSBY Council has flagged $18 million of capital works projects in its draft plan for the 2014/15 financial year, including completing a learn-to-swim pool at Galston Aquatic Centre.
The public has until May 9 to have their say on the draft operational plan which was approved by councillors at Wednesday's meeting.
The plan outlines projects happening in the shire in the next 12 months and how money will be spent in the shire.
“It’s been created by council’s staff and approved by the councillors, but before it is put into action we want to hear from the ratepayers who are most directly affected by it," Hornsby mayor Steve Russell said.
