The Hills Bulls took on Asquith Magpies at the Bull Pit in round 6 of the Sydney Shield rugby league competition.

In the first half it was a very rugged and spiteful affair.
It was 15 minutes into the game before Asquith crossed for their first try and converted 6-nil.
In the 22nd minute they crossed again (12-nil).
This happened in between scuffles, which kept interrupting the game, along with injury breaks.
In the 30th minute Asquith crossed again to make it 18-nil, and it wasn’t looking good.
Thankfully that was the end of the scoring for the first half (half time couldn’t come quick enough).
The second half got off to a much better start and after two minutes Tom Young crossed in the corner to set up a good conversion from near the sideline from Luke Hilton, bringing the score to 18-6.
Now the Bulls decided to play footy and to forget about the rubbish.
In the seventh minute, Ellis James busted over for a try beside the posts after some great runs up the middle to get us in some good field position.
The score was now 18-12.
The tide had turned.
The Bulls were running with venom, making great ground up the middle of the field.
In the 13th minute Ben Mooney dived over from dummy half and the score was 18-all.
In the 25th minute Brad Price scored off a set play (24-18) and in the 32nd minute Tommy Vainga scored after beating four defenders (30-18).
In the 35th minute the Bulls got a penalty within kicking range and Luke Hilton put it over for his sixth goal, wrapping up the game 32-18, in what was a great comeback win by the Bulls!
On Sunday we take on our arch rivals Wenty at Crestwood Oval at 2pm.
BACK TO CRESTWOOD DAY: Sunday is also Back To Crestwood Day and there will be an old boys touch match between the Hills Bulls and the Wentworthville Magpies at 1.30pm.
There will also be rides for the kids, a DJ, cheergirls and beverages for the adults.
