DIMITRI Calavrias is doing a great job of balancing work with study and a social life.
When he's not studying or completing assignments he's the manager at KB Chickens at Stockland Baulkham Hills.
The 21-year-old is studying commerce and arts majoring in marketing and management at the University of Sydney, and hopes to obtain a bachelor's degree by 2016.
Everyone knows him as the hard-working socialite at the chicken store.
When he's not tied up with university or work commitments, he's out with friends.
His excellent management skills were recognised at the Sydney Hills Local Business Awards when he was awarded the Youth Business Award.
"Everyone knows that I have an ability to communicate with others and work greatly in a team," Mr Calavrias said.
His older brother and part-owner of KB Chickens Jeremy Calavrias pushed his younger brother to nominate for the award.
"My family are very motivational and push me to achieve the best in every aspect of my life," Mr Calavrias said.
He is so committed to his studies he couldn't accept the award himself — he was in an exam.
He said he was very optimistic about his future and loved to set goals for himself.
"I like working in an environment that's busy and I'm always on my toes," he said.
He hopes to travel overseas once he's finished his degree to work in the field of marketing.
