Images of wanted man

Police have released CCTV images (see one of these, above) concerning a theft from a Carlingford retirement village earlier this month. 

On May 11, at about 1.30am, a woman sleeping in the complex in Dalmar Place woke to find a man in her room.

She screamed, and the man fled with her wallet.

Her stolen credit card was used to buy goods shortly afterwards.

On Tuesday police released images of a man at service stations in Ermington and Rydalmere on the same morning.

The man shown in the images is described as being of Caucasian appearance and is wearing a green flannelette hooded jumper with a grey hood, a black T-shirt, dark grey pants and black and white shoes.

Anyone who recognises the person in the images is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Drug offences

Police allege a man affected by drugs was found lying on a footpath in Carlingford on Tuesday of last week.

The man, 44, of Carlingford, was found in Oaks Road at about 4.30pm.

Police said the man was not wearing a shirt and was slurring his words and that he had a syringe and a bag containing a white substance.

He was arrested and taken for treatment.

Police are expected to charge him with drug-related offences.

Copper pipe stolen

About 20 metres of copper piping was stolen from a Kellyville property on Friday or Saturday.

Police said the theft occurred in Arnold Avenue between 2pm Friday and 11.15am on Saturday.

The copper was stripped from outside walls on a shed and from a water meter in the yard.

Graffiti break and enter

A break and enter and vandal attack occurred at a home under construction in Springbrook Boulevard, Kellyville, early last week.

Police said the break  and  enter happened between 1pm on Monday  and 10.30am on Wednesday of last week.

The ground floor front door had been forced and graffiti written over the kitchen wall and in the bathroom, some of which read: ‘‘Sorry, me and my friend were walking past and needed the toilet’’.

Theft from unlocked car

A woman had property worth $6000 stolen from her unlocked car in Baulkham Hills on Wednesday.

The robbery occurred in Mileham Avenue between 5.45pm and 6pm.

She told police she left her vehicle unattended, but when she returned her iPod, handbag and expensive sunglasses were missing.
