Donations help Hills groups

North West Disability Services in Baulkham Hills was among the beneficiaries of The Hills Council’s latest donations program. The service received $2363 for first aid training and $2679 for its access2art program.

Other beneficiaries: Annangrove Progress Association ($3050 for defence service and memorial update), Castle Hill Men’s Shed ($3409 for defibrillator, first aid training), Kenthurst Rotary ($7500 for Orange Blossom Fair), Kellyville Lions ($1400 for barbecue trailer shelters) and Castle Hill Art Society ($2200 for an Orange Blossom exhibition).

Following its April 22 meeting, council’s approved donations were $188,012, which represents 72.2per cent of its current adopted budget ($255,272).
