THE Castle Hill RSL Gymnastics Club has once again proved itself to be among the top trampoline clubs in the country after a scintillating Australian Gymnastics Championship campaign.
The championships were hosted at Melbourne's Hisense Arena, with the club boasting a list of new Australian champions following the completion of the competition.
The Castle Hill RSL Gymnastics Club went into the competition with some the nation's best athletes.
Leading the way for the club was NSW team captain and a 2013 world championship representative Matthew Weal who took out the senior international double mini trampoline title, in addition to his silver medal performance in the individual and synchronised trampoline.
In the girls' youth international divisions, Castle Hill's Imogen Florian and Megan Adams were both among the medals, with Florian winning gold on the double mini trampoline before teaming up with Adams to take out the synchronised gold medal.
The youth stars also took a silver (Adams) and bronze (Florian) in the individual trampoline event.
The junior international men's duo of Daniel Hancock and Brendan Weal won gold in their synchronised event while Kellyville's Kira Ward won the junior international trampoline gold.
One of the club's biggest 2014 success stories turned out to also be one of their youngest stars, with under-11s debutant Saray Stojanovic winning gold in both the trampoline and tumbling events.
