Castle Hill Players next show is Death by Chocolate.
Get Fit or Die Trying! This is the motto at Meadowbrook Health Resort.
A mission statement that is living up to its promise, literally.
The day before its grand re-opening, the newly renovated Meadowbrook Health Resort is dealing with a string of deaths. This is definitely not what the new owner, Lady Riverdale wishes to advertise.
John Stone, the newly appointed manager, along with mystery writer, Ed Parlour set out to solve the mystery. It’s a madcap and wacky race to find the murderer quickly.
This whodunit moves between Parlour’s own developing script and the live, unfolding action on stage.
This hilarious comedy is filled with farcical physicality and over the top puns as the search for the killer is heightened with each new death.
The characters are satirical in their representations of eighties celebrities and TV stars.
Be warned! The laughs just keep coming with each zany and over-the-top death scene.
This will be one side splitting, gasping for air, fun-filled night at the theatre.
Death by Chocolate has taken two ingredients and mixed it up to create this comical mystery.
It makes fun of the health crazes that dominate our self-obsessed world, while wrapping it up as a classic murder mystery.
Death by Chocolate opens Friday, June 20 and runs until Saturday, July 12 at The Pavilion Theatre, Castle Hill Showground, Showground Road access.
Tickets: $21/$26 and can be booked online at www.paviliontheatre.org.au.
