Excelsior Cup Charity Day this Saturday

The community is invited to Eric Mobbs Reserve this Saturday and dig deep for charity.

The Castle Hill RSL Rockets Premier League teams will once again challenge the Baulkham Hills Football Club for the Excelsior Cup.

Held at the Rockets’ home ground, this year the event will raise funds for two very worthy charities: the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Ovarian Cancer Australia.

Last year was the first Excelsior Cup Charity Day and Baulkham Hills Club were the winners on the day taking out the match 3-1 in a close battle.

As a result of the efforts by both clubs, they collectively raised over $3500 for the Westmead Childrens Hospital.

With a little luck, the Rockets may get to even the score at this year's event.

The Girls and Ladies Teams did their bit for charity last Sunday, donning their pink colours to play.

From 8.30am enjoy great games, barbecue and purchase raffle tickets.
