AS THE cost of living continues to rise families are starting to look elsewhere to increase the household income.

Managing director of 4Life Research Evelyn Thom says mothers are returning to work to help the family finances.

"In this climate something has to give - and this usually means that wives and mothers need to go back to work," Ms Thom said.

"There is a price to be paid for everything and the first thing to go is usually quality family time."

To solve the problems of income, family time and keeping the family healthy all at once, Ms Thom suggests mothers can work from home.
