THE Castle Hill Players will perform Accomplice at the Pavilion Theatre.
There is much secrecy surrounding this thriller of a play, by famed playwright Rupert Holmes.
Castle Hill players are keeping mum about the details of the plot and even the characters' names to keep the suspense alive ahead of the opening on Friday, August 15.
Accomplice is a whodunit wrapped in a farce, driven by unique characters, with a plot that includes many bends and hairpin corners.
What little teasers have been released point towards an eclectic array of ways to commit murder in an English country house.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to laugh or gasp in surprise.
Peter Rhodes will direct the play and it features Matt Treddinick, Meredith Jacobs, Stephen Snars and Isabelle Kavanagh, but, again, we can't tell their parts yet because that would be giving too much away!
Holmes was twice awarded the Edgar award, for great American mystery writing and was nominated for the Tony awards for Say Goodnight, Gracie.
Tickets can be booked online at paviliontheatre.org.au . Accomplice opens on Friday, August 15 and runs until Saturday, September 6.
