IT'S not only the players that have been kept busy in 2012.
The Parramatta Eels support staff — doctors, trainers and physiotherapists — have been kept on their toes all season by a mounting injury toll.
It started in preseason when barnstorming centre Jacob Loko was ruled out for the season when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in a training mishap.
From there the injuries have gradually flowed to compound the Eels woes on the field.
In recent times two of the Eels best in 2012, Matt Keating (back) and Jarryd Hayne (knee) were forced to have an early end to the year with season ending injuries.
Willie Tonga (ankle) has an injury plagued season in his return to the blue and gold and midseason recruit Luke Kelly (eye) is also likely to miss the remainder of the season. The injuries haven't just hit first grade. Two of the Eels most electrifying talents Marmin Barba (knee) and Jason Seage (temple) also had seasons cut short by injury.
