North Rocks Public School students have drawn inspiration from the humble milkshake to become finalists in a national dance competition.
Their dance performance was deemed the best in the state, and one of the best entries in the country, in Dairy Australia's 'milkshake' dance competition.
The students had to learn a simple 'milkshake' dance routine and send in a video of themselves performing the dance as part of celebrations for National Healthy Bones Week.
The competition aimed to draw attention to the importance of a calcium-rich diet combined with exercise for strong bones.
