STUDENTS of Castle Hill High School are showing off their best art works at a three-day Visual Arts Exhibition starting from next Tuesday, August 28.
It features artists from year 7 to 11 and highlights some year 12 HSC works at Castle Street from 5pm to 8pm on the first and second day and from 6pm to 8pm on the third day.
Simone Read,visual arts teacher said selected year 12 art students would also talk about their works while textiles and design students would wear their creations on the catwalk.
She said the exhibition would be opened to parents and members of the public to allow them appreciate the work and that refreshments and supper would be provided.
Ms Read said the exhibition would include the works of top visual art students Dunja Tatic and Christina Eckmann, both year 9.
‘‘Although they haven’t won any award at this stage, it would be their third year of displaying their artworks in our show,’’ she said.
‘‘Castle Hill High have some amazingly talented students in the creative arts and it’s wonderful to share their talents with the community.
‘‘I am so proud of all the students.’’
