Shane Warne hardly struggles for a date. But, that hasn't stopped the notorious naughty boy bowler from trying on Tinder for size.
And why not?
We all know he loves a good selfie, isn't shy about a sextathon or three and likes to have his fingers in many, ahem, pies.
So dating app Tinder, which is all selfies, fast-fingered swiping and grammatically poor sexting seems right up the Aussie spin bowler's alley.
Not to mention that, as a professional poker player, gambles are his game.
Having such a high profile and trying to play the online dating game on the sly is a big gamble indeed.
Tinder makes about 12 million matches a day. So the sportman's odds at adult sexual snap were red hot.
And, true to form he won that round.
Unfortunately for the 45-year-old man-child, who seems perennially shocked when his dalliances become public (again) in explicit, cringe-worthy detail, the secret side of the Tinder gamble didn't pay off.
Well, not for him at least.
On Sunday, Warne hit back at Kim McGrath, whom he met on Tinder and who subsequently sold the details of their sexual encounter to a magazine.
"If someone wants to be silly and go and do something like that, then fine," Warne told the Sunday Telegraph. "But I wish they would get some facts in there rather than sensationalise it."
In January, 43-year-old McGrath from Adelaide, revealed the sordid details of her "wild sex romp" with Warne to Woman's Day.
She swiped right on the cricketer, who was in Adelaide for a test match, and asked him to send a selfie to prove he was legitimate.
She sent one back, to which he apparently replied: Got it!!! You're hot, are you home alone? Can I trust you? Are you private? This has to stay between us? X"
She invited him over and the rest is history, but unsurprisingly, it did not stay between them.
"The night of passion included Shane asking her to stand in the corner in her high heels while he spanked her; him discovering erogenous zones on her body she didn't know existed; Shane driving her wild with his own brand of foreplay; and him talking dirty to her and encouraging her to try a few 'porno' style moves," Woman's Day said cryptically.
Despite saying he was "one of the best lovers" she'd had, poor old Horney Warnie was upset. "Respect, honesty, trust & your word is all you have. Living your life valuing these principals is so important...Shame not everyone does !" he wrote on Twitter at the time.
Now, Warne, who split with fiancee Elizabeth Hurley in November 2013 amid rumours he was unfaithful, tells the Tele that his hectic travel schedule made looking for love hard.
"I can guarantee I am 100 per cent single," the father of three said. "My kids are my No. 1 priority, [then] my work, my poker, my cricket commentating, my foundation.
"Having a girlfriend or someone is way down the list at the moment."
Warnie might be swiping left to love, but Tinder where you can have the "rock star-type experience of 18 orgasms ... in a week"?
He might as well be swiping right to that. And, even after the latest tell-all, he's considering it.
"You going to get on tinder in Auckland Shane?" a fan wrote on his official Facebook page last month.
"Haven't open tinder in NZ yet !!!!!! Should I ???" he immediately responded.
Yes, you should Warnie, because you and Tinder are a perfect match.
