Inspector-General of Taxation takes charge of ATO complaints

More than 1300 individual complaints made each year about the Australian Taxation Office will now be handled by Inspector-General of Taxation Ali Noroozi, instead of the Commonwealth Ombudsman, which some taxpayers say is the pathway to better and faster resolution of tax disputes.
