Radio National Breakfast host Fran Kelly appears to be on a break from grilling Australia's politicians and has turned her hand to comedy, starring in a new parody video online.
The clip posted to Radio National's Facebook page on Friday morning shows Kelly and her colleagues singing along to Video Killed The Radio Star and poking fun of the ABC and its managing director Mark Scott.
Within just two hours of being posted online, the video had been viewed nearly 10,000 times.
The two-minute video is inspired by Australian YouTube comedy trio SketchShe, who have rocketed to fame in the past six months with lip-syncing videos that have been watched almost 26 million times.
The politicial journalist and her colleagues appear in the tongue-in-cheek clip decked out in 1980s garb and make fun of both themselves and the ABC.
Radio National presenter James Carleton, dressed in drag, proves his comic chops with signs such as "I am a Walkley Award finalist" and "You are paying for this".
He also warns Mr Scott to get ready for a Senate Estimates hearing into ABC funding.

The ABC chief appears in on the act, posting the video to his Facebook page with the caption "What has happened to the ABC? What has happened to Fran Kelly and RN Breakfast?"
Facebook fans called for the trio to make more videos and said the clip had made their morning.
"Never seen James Carleton look so good," Tim Higgens wrote.
"Happy to be paying for this. Only complaint is that it is not longer," said Chris Leppard.
